It's been awhile, but my studio's been a bit busy.

It has been quite awhile, but my head's been down and I've been creating new pieces to bring back with me to the states and to exhibit at this year's (da-da-duh-dahhh) P-Noise Festival in Copenhagen!

The P-Noise Festival is an exciting culmination of film, dance, performance, and visual art all brought together to celebrate Filipino culture in a contemporary-cross-borders way. We're featuring artists from the Philippines and from in and around Denmark & Scandinavia. I'm also on the Gallery team, so I've gotten firsthand experience of how awesome and powerful this year's work is.

I'll post the images for the festival later, once I get proper images taken...soooo excited!

Breathing time

Babies are stretched. It's times like last night I miss having an air staple gun handy. Now, I'm going to let these pieces breathe for a moment, so I can soak in everything that's happening in a different perspective. It's time to find some solutions for the last stitches and strokes!

One year's gone by...

Today I realized that a year has past working consistently on these pieces. There's so much work ahead with embroidery being such a slow process, but I can (have to) see the end near!
